4 Easy Steps on How to Make a Fall Centerpiece
You can make this DIY in 20 minutes.
These 4 easy steps on making a fall centerpiece will open your imagination to think about how you can apply these steps to create a centerpiece for any occasion.
Like a bridal shower, wedding reception, or family gathering using coordinated colors.
The ideas are endless!
Let me take you through the steps and see what you think!
Supplies you will need:
- Wood antique hat box (or box of your choice)
- 2 faux fall leaves with white pumpkins
- Wire cutter
Instructions:
Step One: Add twine and tape inside the box.
Cut 2 inches of extra twine to allow room to place the tape onto the string to secure it to the box.
I am placing the tape inside the box so it isn’t seen.
Using packing tape is the key to ensuring the string stays in place.
You will want three rows of twine to go left and right.
And three rows of twine going top to bottom.
This will keep the faux leaves and berries upright.
Note: You can add more rows of jute twine to the box if your flowers or leaves are small and delicate.
Step Two: Cut the leaf branches with the wire cutter.
Cut all of the branches of the leaves and berries so that they are loose.
Step Three: Add the branches to the hat box.
When adding the branches, put them at a slant.
You want to do this evenly on both sides.
Add the branches with the pumpkins on all four sides so they can be seen.
Step 4: Add the berries.
As you can see from the above photo, it seemed to need something extra.
So, I found these berries and added them, slanting them like I did the others.
Here is what it looks like with the berries.
That was 4 easy steps!
You could do this with any box, crate, or glass bowl. You can find boxes at Joann fabrics, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels.
Here are some links to some boxes (the photo is a link):
One of my favorite places to look for boxes is Goodwill.
I found this one for $2.99.
It wasn’t in perfect condition. But for what it was used for, it was perfect and had all the Fall vibes I could ever want with that dreamy Autumn brown. Love it!
