My Beautiful Christmas Home Tour With Thrifted Finds
It’s officially time to decorate for Christmas.
In this post, I’m sharing my beautiful Christmas home tour with thrifted finds.
The spirit of Christmas beckoned me in October.
That is the earliest I’ve ever had a rising joy in my heart, anticipating Christmas.
With a pumpkin spice latte in my hand, as the fall was in full swing, I was already planning on how I would decorate my home with the Ralph Lauren Christmas decor that was all the craze this year.
What started it all was when a Christmas tree went on sale on Amazon.
Link to the Christmas tree here.
That was back in October.
My heart soared with joy once the tree arrived on my doorstep.
The truth is, I wanted to go big this year.
And here is what it looks like so far.

My home is 80% thrifted.
The furniture you see came from Goodwill, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or an antique store.
Plus, most of the Christmas decor I’m showing you today came from Goodwill.
Like the collection of Nutcrackers on the little Christmas tree.

Not only were there those in a plastic bag, but some Santa ornaments, too.
All for $7.99.
The interesting thing was there were handwritten prices on each of them from $5 to $8, as if they came from a boutique or shop.

Here is our Christmas tree decorated with teddy bears.

It all came about when I saw the Ralph Lauren teddy bear on Pinterest.
After that, I started to notice teddy bears at thrift stores.
And so I placed the big one on the tree, and I was hooked.
Since then, I have found more.
Here is a close-up of some of them.

There are some red transferware teacups on the tree, as well.
It adds to the vintage look, I think.

I found a full set of eight teacups and saucers on eBay for $24.00.
I pinch myself when I find deals like this.
They sure have that old vintage Christmas vibe.
Love those finds.
My latest Goodwill find was these weighted ornaments.

The moment I picked them up, they were unlike any I’ve seen before.
They had a weighted feel to them.
And the colors are so vibrant!
Especially the green and blue ones.
On top of my dresser, on the wall, I placed a frame with a sweet Santa print.

But can we take a moment and just look at that gorgeous antique dresser?
One of my most beloved finds from Craigslist, which included a matching bed frame and vanity for $295.
Was that a deal or what?
Here is an up close look at how I decorated this area for Christmas.

As mentioned, I put this sweet print of a little girl whispering her Christmas wishes into Santa’s ear.
The white cherub candle holder and large Santa were found at Goodwill.
The two white plates were my recent finds from a store called Not Just Antiques.
I share that amazing day and my Christmas decor haul in the video below.
Now, let’s take a look inside my dining room.
This is the center of all of our family gatherings.

We will start by looking at the Christmas decorations I added to our hutch.
My goal when thrifting was to find a collection of Santa Clauses.
I wanted to cluster them together, and what a delightful cluster they are!

In the middle photo, there is a red and white plate I found at Goodwill in the middle of Spring.
That is how I shop when I go thrifting.
I will look for things for all the seasons.
And here is an up close look at the top shelf of the hutch.

I think it is so pretty with the stacked teacups and Goodwill Christmas art of little children in front of their fireplace opening gifts.
On the back wall of the dining room, I placed some prints of men riding horses.

This vintage look goes so well with my decor style.
On the beautiful antique chairs, I placed a set of red tartan plaid pillows.
I found these on Amazon and will link them here.
Talk about cozy and soft!
These pillow covers have all the vibes of a Ralph Lauren Christmas.
As you enter our dining room, you will find a black leather vintage French-style chair.

Behind it is a large framed piece of art of two Victorian ladies singing.
Both of these were found at Goodwill.
I am beyond grateful to have found these treasures!
This was so much fun taking you on my beautiful Christmas home tour with thrifted finds.
Thank you for joining me today.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas season!
