7 Old Christmas Finds from an Antique Store
I recently went to an antique store and found some amazing Christmas finds!
While there, I came across something I had been looking for.
I immediately asked the clerk to open the glass case it was sitting in.
Once the key was turned and the glass door pulled back, I reached to get the fuzzy little guy.
#1. Old Vintage Teddy Bear
I wasn’t sure if this was the one.
Until I looked at the price tag.
It was less than anticipated.
Antique teddy bears are usually $75 or more.
This one was $30 and let’s just say he went home with me.
I mean, can you see why? Look at that face!
I will incorporate him in my Christmas decor and can’t wait to show you where.
#2. Vintage Christmas wreath
Not knowing what I’d find at the antique store, I was happy to have come across this Christmas wreath.
It has an old-world look, and I love the unique art of a sleigh exiting a red barn.
It was $9.95, which made this find that much sweeter.
One of my favorite Christmas finds at the antique store.
#3. Vintage Lace Handkerchief
Antique lace linens have been on my radar lately.
They add elegance to my home decor.
The old vintage lace linens are wonderful to put under ironstone or to hang from an edge of a shelf with only a corner showing.
Usually, they are inexpensive.
The white lace handkerchief in the photo above was $3.00.
I envision using it as white snow for a vignette in this year’s Christmas decor.
#4. Old Vintage Santa
The old Santa Claus was a fun find.
He is in a seated position which is unique.
I love his old chippy-worn charm.
He looks like he’s saying, HO HO HO!
The price tag for this little Santa was $4.00.
That was cheap!
#5 & 6. Two Little Trees
It was a pleasant surprise to find these little vintage trees on sale.
They were $3.00 each.
Perfect for my Christmas tree theme this year.
The best part is they are flocked.
#7. Old Rustic Bronze Clock
The old vintage clock was unexpected.
The face of the clock has a black background with gold roman numerals and white scrolled hands.
The body is rustic bronze gold which lends to its old-world charm.
It will be that extra layering piece that will be beautiful in my Christmas decorating this year.
I can’t wait!
This was the beginning of my Christmas planning.
My mind is already putting the pieces together.
And I can’t wait to make my ideas become a reality!
