Beautiful Spring Floral Home Tour
Today, I’m sharing a spring floral home tour of my living room and dining room.
I love this time of year.
The dreary, gloomy days are beginning to fade away to green leaves on the trees and dormant flowers once again raising their beautiful heads to the sky.
There’s a natural pull to go outdoors.
For me, it’s a pull to dig in the dirt and to ready my garden.
To plant some seeds or a vegetable starter to begin growing again during these cheery months ahead.
Whatever it is, it is the time of year I cherish because it motivates me to enjoy my life.
And that is what I want to inspire you with today.
My home is a reflection of what’s in my heart.
Every time I roll up my sleeves and work to decorate my home, it is an opportunity to reinvent what I already have and give it a new twist.
And with spring, it is time to add flowers.
Here is my Spring floral home tour.
The simple trail of flowers in each space adds that little something that gives a nod to this glorious spring season.
To start this tour, let’s go into my dining room.
Dining Room
I have been going to Goodwill lately and found cheap little vintage items to add to my Victorian Farmhouse-style home.
Like the wooden clock that was $7.99.
And the Pfalzgraff pitcher in the photo below, which I filled with an off-white rose and white hydrangea.
This was found for $4.99.
You can see a shop with me video below, sharing that amazing trip to a new Goodwill.
While shopping at Goodwill, I searched for silver teapots and coffee pots to add to the top of my hutch.
I wanted a little collection and think I scored big time.
On one of my trips, I ended up going to the Children’s Hospital Thrift Store, where I found a whole silver set for $31.25.
With some Weiman silver polish, I was able to make the teapot from this set glisten and shine.
Here is the latest video sharing some incredible finds from the Children’s Hospital thrift store.
Since then, the store has closed.
It was beyond sad to hear this.
Dining Table
On the dining table, I placed a small Pfalzgraff teapot filled with blue hydrangeas.
The little teapot was a gift from my daughter.
Which makes this so special!
The flowers are a perfect muted blue color that goes with the vintage blue in my transferware.
Like the adorable blue creamer on the hutch.
That piece was found at an antique store.
It all goes together beautifully.
Now, we enter our living room as I share this spring floral home tour.
Living Room
Adding an abundance of flowers to a gold cherub planter seemed appropriate for this side table.
To go with this gold cherub planter, I placed a gold cherub stand with a green bowl inside in front.
This was such a sweet find!
The stand was $4.99, and the green bowl was $3.99.
Both are from Goodwill.
The green glass bowl was inspired by some green votive candle toppers on top of our TV armoire.
Inside the terrarium, I placed some white flowers inside of these tiny green mason jars found on Amazon.
The mason jars have a frog top, which makes the flowers stay put.
The terrarium was found at Hobby Lobby using the 50% off coupon.
As you can see, most of the things I shared with you today are thrifted finds.
Beautifying our homes doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.
Over time, you can find inexpensive pieces that are exactly what you’re imagining for your home.
They may be things you have seen at regular stores.
Or old antiques from an antique store.
It’s amazing how these things can appear for cheap with regular visits to a thrift store.
I’ve stopped in my tracks in disbelief when holding something in my hands I’ve been looking for.
Like the Red Cliff white ironstone platter in the photo above.
It is normally $50 or more, but I found it for $9.99.
That was an amazing day.
